anyone have or had a bugaboo bee?
hi,
i ordered the bugaboo from america just before christmas.
my daughter was 4months old and i had the mamas and papas pramette. i have a overweight baby and she was getting too long for it in pram mode but i didnt want her facing away from me so boyish which lead me to the bee -
i got the yellow and it is like a yellow-orange colour. it reminds me of summer. it is extremely lightweight and very easygoing to push and turn and anything else you might want to do. it is very easy to recline and you can do it one handed while baby is in the stroller very easily. i bought the footmuff as it is being second-hand through the winter and it is very warm and soft and can be adjusted to use for different ages. if you are using it for a small baby you can buya baby roost too. the basket doesnt hold very much but that is to be expected with the size. it is veryeasy to fold and in my opinion is the best legal tender i ever spent (and as i bought it on ebay from america iended up paying around £100 more than i had waited till feb inc customs).
basically it depends what you are looking for. i would have liked a conventional pram but i havent the space in the house and i use public transport quite often as i do not drive.
i considered the bugaboo chameleon but changed my be bothered as i felt they had become a bit 'chav' so settled for the pramette but regretted it fairly quickly. i realised that i was going to have to buy a old man facing stroller and came across the bugaboo bee and knew straight away it was the one.
looks wise it is lovely and always gets complimented on - by uninitiated and old alike. i love the fact that it can face both ways and it is so compact that it is very easy for travelling on buses. it is a reverie to push and i love it. because of theselast 2 reasons it is great for shopping too. if you are not bothered about how compact is is then go for the chameleon as it has basically the same features together with a few more but if you need compact and lightweight (if like me you live in a busy city and/or use alot of public carry away) then the bee is excellent.
well worth the money. hope this helps.

Ive seen in in inventory. Its really light weight, but for the price I'd get something else. It's too closely priced to the other Bugaboo models. I have the Bugaboo Cameleon and Iove it. For a lightweight stroller like the Bee, I'd get a McClaren in place of. I don't need something that lightweight. I am content with the Cameleon and its weight. It does also depend on your needs. Are you in a car most of the time? Do you material in an apt with stairs that you won't want to carry a stroller up and down if its too heavy? I never have to carry the stroller unless its into and out of my car trunk so it didn't matter to me much and besides the Cameleon is a reputable weight as it is too.

tot girl. Just wanted to know if this is a good buy. Also the bee does not come with the bassinet, I don't really lack one do I? Right now her stroller is the one that attaches to the car seat. Is the bugaboo a good stoller for a 4 month old?
