How can I make a car seat into a seat for my desk?

When I get a cars front seat from a waste/scrap yard how would I make it into a seat for my desk?

get rid of the rails that make the seat go forward and backward cut a piece of 5/8 or 3/4 " plywood...get rid of the seat from a swivel and recline office chair drill and bolt the bottom of the office chair to the car seat using 5/16x1" freightage bolts

unscrew the screws in the seat and unscrew the bottom of the commission chair and connect the two.

Anyone drudgery as a baggage handler or on the ramp at any airport? I'm an ex-F/A so I never really saw that side of the "operation". I read that as a tip for those transporting children's car seats and I'm not convinced that dragging it all the way to the door really is that better than simply checking it in intially and then slapping a few "fragile" stickers on it. Are they handled with more distress with the wheelchairs and strollers? Correct me if I'm wrong and feel free to eloborate.

From what I have seen, the barrier can have a spiral chute or one with big turn up at the end to catch gate checked stuff like strollers. Anything sent down that slide gets quite hard treatment. If your talking about a small airport and small plane then it sometimes works that you empty stuff on the ground beside the plane and they load it on, then off load at other end and you pick up as you step off the plane. But that is only for those planes which dont drop anchor to a skybridge.
