All 50 states coerce children up to 20 pounds to be secured in child seats. And 35 states (including OK, AR and TN) have booster seat requirements for firm older/bigger children.
Oklahoma's law requires children 40 lbs. or less to be in a child safety seat. Arkansas's law requires children weighing less than 60 pounds to use an nick child safety seat. Tennessee's law requires children 4 through 8 years and less than 4'9" to be in a booster seat.
