What is the best car seat protector when toilet training a child?
I representation on toilet changing my son using toilet training underwear and vinyl pants and completely doing away with diapers and not wasting my cold hard cash on pullup which is basically a pull up diaper. Anyway, for when we are out and about what is the best product out there that I can place in his carseat, in case he has a grooming accident in the car. I looked at the piddle pad on Amazon and it has more bad than good reviews so what is the best idea? Anyone with experience and enormous advice is thanked.
I never old a car seat protector. So far *knock on wood* my daughter has only had one accident in her car seat and shes been potty trained about a year now. The vinyl pants are in fact very useful. Once my daughter got the hang of it she was pretty good about telling me when she had to go and then I stopped at a restroom or the side of the road whichever was handy. In fact, she was only potty trained a couple of months when we had to make a trip thats like 8 hours away. I put a diaper on her because we had to arrange good time and she held it! Did not pee in that diaper once. Didn't put it on her on the return trip home and she was fine.
Best luck!
Do you need to use the cushioned head protector in a toddler car seat?
Our 2 imposing-daughters have just turned one year old and are over 20 lbs, so can now go forward facing. I purchased a new toddler car seat for my car for babies 20-40 lbs. It came with a padded headman rest. One step-daughter says that it is only needed for infants. I didn't understand why the head coffee break would even come with the car seat if it wasn't needed. This toddler seat is not designed for infants. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Yes, the head recline did come with the car seat. That's why I thought it needed to be used. I am going to take my car with the car seat to the next Police car seat inspection station that they have in our town. It is uninhabited and they will make sure that you have the right seat and that it is installed correctly. Even though I do not drive these babies on a daily basis, I unbiased want to be safe when I do have them.
You can use the soften only if it came with the car seat.
Never buy them somewhere else and add them to the seats.
When my boy was a few days old, I went to the police station to test the seat that we bought, police T-Man took a look at the seat and asked if the head rest came with the car seat? We said no, and she took it off and put it away. She said only to use what came with the seat, because that has been tested by the regime. We could put folded blankets for the head, that was ok she said.
