Can you secure a Graco infant carrier/car seat onto a shopping cart?

I retract years ago that infant seats could be secured onto the top front of a shopping cart. I assumed they all did this, but when I got a Graco system, I saw nothing in the instructions about that feature. Does anyone have shopping barrow suggestions for the graco car seat? I really don't want to take her out of the seat if she is sleeping.

I have the Graco Mertolite Hang around system with infant carrier. I was told that it was securable onto a shopping cart but everytime I have tried it I feel as though it is not very guarantee because of the slightly rounded base of the carrier. I don't use it with the shopping cart. I just put my daughter in a front pack when I'm in a ball game where I need to do a large shopping and need a cart. I'm sure if you call Graco they can give you a definative answer but I share your appertain to about the Graco infant carrier and cart combo and I have found it is just safer to avoid that combo altogether.

Can a graco car seat go into a combi stroller?

I upright saw a combi stroller on craigslist and they said that a graco carseat will work as well as a combi car seat. Is this true? Has anyone had one? I have a combi stroller and I'm ttc #2 but the combi car seats are so up-market! Just wondering if anyone knows how I could find out please let me know!

I was told the same feeling, that they work. And I was told this by the manufacturers, so I would tend to believe it.

will a graco car seat fit in a vauxhall zafira?

We have recently brought a zafira and indulge no 3 is on the way! We need to buy a new car seat for the baby and have been looking at the graco one with the in car base and was wondering if any one can tell us if it will fit in a zafira?

I'm a trained childseat fitter for Halfords (trained by Graco) - if you go to a Halfords stockpile (I work at the Stockport branch), they will come out and check for you, although some stores may charge a fee because Head Office have unquestionable to be miserly gits.
As a rule, when you fit the seat (using the guide that's printed on the side of the seat), you need to check that the seatbelt comes To the fore from the anchorage point at the base of your car, towards the front of the seat (so the lap belt goes in a diagonal line from the rear of the carseat towards the front of the childseat) - that is how we govern if a childseat is suitable.
It sounds like you're interested in the Iso-Fix base though, which is literally one of the safest things you can get as once installed it becomes as genuine as the car body - you need to phone a Halfords store and they can look it up on the checklist provided for us by Graco - they'll do this for free for you! Some cars are unsuitable for Iso-Fix's because the shock of the vehicle isn't strong enough to withstand the support pole of the Iso-Fix in the event of an accident.

Oh, by the way, if you buy the seat and/or the Iso-Fix from Halfords, it's in truth free fitting, but the Graco babyseat is extremely safe even without the Iso-Fix, so long as it's fitted properly and it also has impact absorbers that shrink from vibrations through the handle and away from baby's head (which is what those huge knobs either side of the handle are)
