I don't have need of to go right up to the shore but I would like to go watch/enjoy the dogs from a good distance (i.e. not like 50 yards away). I use a power moderator so rolling on sand is not an option.
I also want to set up a hang out spot (picnic, umbrella, etc.) so chilling in the parking lot is not forbidding.
from what i bear in mind, it's not really wheelchair accessible. down by the sand, there is no boardwalk or cement walkway where you will be able to set up a spot.
from the parking lot, you meet over a kind of uneven road. on the other side of the road is a semi-cliff that you have to go down (and i've never noticed a ramp or stairs, so i've solely climbed down it), and then it's all sand and water from there.
maybe if you wanted, you could set up a little spot on that road. that road doesn't have any cars on it, i conceive of it's just for pedestrians and maybe bikes. from there, you can look down and see all the dogs, though it is kind of far away (most of the dogs are conservative next to the water, and it's a good 30+ yards of sand to the water).
