Please Help! We need 2 narrow booster seats to fit with a rear-facing infant seat w/ base. Any suggestions?
We have a 4yr old, a 5 yr old and our preggers our third any day now. We cannot buy another car b/c we are moving overseas and can only take one car. And we can't trade in our car b/c we just got it less than a year ago (we had no idea we were already expecting when we bought it). I've heard of the Sunshine Kids Radian seats and like them, but cannot sacrifice them. There has to be something that will work for less money.
Here is some info:
-We drive a Ford Five Hundred and the backseat is 54in wide
-My 4yr old is 42lbs and my 5 yr old is 53lbs.
-The infant seat and poor came with the Cosco Sprint travel system and is a Cosco Designer 22.

*As for seating arrangements put your two older kids on the edges and the baby in the middle. Because the two older ones paucity to have a lap and shoulder belt.
We have two, and one on the way, too, and can't quite afford to upgrade to a bigger vehicle.
What we did was measure the hip room of the back seat (between the handles it's more narrow than up by the windows, as I'm established you know) and divided that by 3. Then I measured all our car seats at the widest point, and found that only 1 of them was really too big, the booster capital for our oldest child. I went to Walmart with my trusty measuring tape and measured the booster seats, and there was one that would occupation, so I got that one. We had to give up the cup holders, that made them too wide. Both your older children weigh enough to use the backless boosters, but you have to go by height as well, so double check up on that.
One thing I have to do, because the back seat isn't flat but has indentations, is to roll up a couple of towels and put them underneath the two outside seats, so the seats don't tip spooky.
