I've heard awful things about how difficult the Snap-n-Go is to use, but Graco's snap-frame only works with Graco car seats, right? And I haven't been adept to find any reviews of Baby Planet's Max support frame yet. Does anyone out there have experience with these stroller frames, especially mixing and identical car seat brands?
The Graco Snugrider skeleton will fit the Graco SNugride and Graco SafeSeat1. Nothing else.
Which one is best completely depends upon the type of seat your purchasing, your budget, and what you like first. They're all very similar. Combi has one, and Kolcraft has one that I really like, personally. And I haven't ever heard any complaints about the Bounce-n-Go.
the only problem with Snap-n-Go is that they don't list the compatible seats - just says compatible with 'most' which means if you get a Graco or Evenflo have room (I would not get an Evenflo infant seat though, too many recalls, cheap flimsy seats) it'll work. Other than those, definitely try befor eyou buy or you might have to income. The other brands' website lists what they're compatible with. But Graco Snugrider frame is the only one that only fits one brand of seats.
I'm looking for an casually to steer, good quality, safe, and durable tandem pram in Victoria, Australia.
I like the look of the Graco Quattro Duo... Has anyone had experiences with this pram? Any habitual review would be great, and in particular:
Is it easy to steer?
Does it last?
Is it good for long distance? (I don't zip so we walk everywhere)
Any set backs?
Do you recommend any other tandem strollers?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks
I don't have any most luxurious answers for twins (except that while they're young a double snap-and-go stroller is a must), but if you have two of different ages, I have a Phil and Ted's E3 (the newer beau id is called the Sport) and I love it! I used it for my son as a single, took the baby for a walk with it completely at full speed (like a pram) yesterday with a second seat on top for my toddler to hop on when he was tired of walking, and used it today for my toddler and a moll's toddler. I love the flexibility, the second seat snaps on and off easily, and the whole thing fits in the very pocket trunk of my car. When in use, it isn't any bigger or wider than a single stroller and is great for manuvering through stores or crowds.
On the negative side, I do choose it had a bigger basket... if you plan to use it for shopping you need to buy the pannier bags. It's also quite valuable, but it keeps it's resale value.
She is 20 months and about common height (32"). I only want a single stroller not a double. And I also want one sturdy enough to go casing. I am planning on spending about $30-45 on it. I don't want a cheap cheap one because I feel like they are a waste as they go to the dogs quickly in quality. And I don't want to spend too much because she is getting a nicer one from Pottery Barn Kids for her birthday. The one for her B-day is a pink polka-dot pram elegance. But at the moment she is still a bit too small to use the pram shaped ones well. It's too hard for her to reach into it. So I want a forward fa style. Right now I am between these 3 really:
The MacClaren Junior XT ($30), it got decent reviews on toys r us and I know that our specific toys r us has it in stock.
The Graco Expidition doll jogger ($23); This one is newer I believe so there was only 1 review for it; but it was a honourable one.
The MacClaren MX3 jogger ($33); again got good reviews and I think this is super cute.
Finally the Fisher-Fee rainforest 2-in-1 stroller ($29.), the reviews were mixed but I just think it looks SO cute with al the rainforest theme newborn stuff out there and everything!
So if anyone has either other suggestions, or has a comment about one that I listed as intetrested in please let me know. I know it seems like a lot for a doll stroller, but I disinclined getting her excited them it being a hunk of crap, and having to take it back ect. I prefer to research it well first. Thanks for your help!!!
I have a 19 mo old granddaughter that I bought a doll stroller for at Christmas. I mull over I paid only around $20 for it at Target; it's from Mommy & Me but it is very sturdy. This one is pink & green but they had one just a little larger that was in shades of despondent & green (I think).
My granddaughter actually likes to take her doll out & sit in it herself!
We were afraid it would break but it seems to be holding up very well. I didn't demand to spend a lot because I know she will outgrow this & need a bigger, better one at that time. This is the perfect size for her directly now. Good luck.
