maclaren pushchairs-washing the hood?

does anyone be aware if you can remove the hood fabric to wash it without breaking the bolts on the hood? thanks
thankyou very much

Hi there I have a maclaren crusade and I wouldn't try to take the material off the hood as I think it's too much of a risk of the material tearing around the bolts.
What I would do is to just ripple it down with napisan and then blow dry it with a hairdryer. When I bought mine I asked the shop assistant how to clean it and she recommended this.
Virtuous luck

Hi, i'm looking into buying a maclaren 4 seasons pushchair. Are these good or would the bugaboo bee be better?

I'm due in September, so it would be adapted to for a newborn. I have a ford ka, so tiny boot. I live in London, so will be using public transport a lot. I'm intending on walking a lot in the store too. Its a minefield out there! any help would be gratefully received.
thanks.

We have a bugaboo chameleon. It is the most excellently! So well designed an built. You will never find anyone who is unhappy with theirs. I love the bee too..soooooo cute.
I'm not familiar with the Maclaren. My friend has a Quinny that is fantabulous also.

It's fun to shop for these things, isn't it!!

does anyone here own a Maclaren pushchair.. 10pts :)?

how do find it? i currently hav the bebeconfort streety but find it so broad n awkward on buses! i need a lightweight pushchair but the maclaren will put me back 200euros so i wanted to do as much research as reasonable before i get it.

is it lightweight? i checked out the sites n thats what it states but i tend to go with mums opinions. it also says my pushcair is ligt n closely-knit but it aint!

is it easy to fold? whilst carryin a 10kg+ baby lol (8month old)

is it good in bad weather? rain cats n all :)

ANY thoughts n opinions are accepted.. regardin the pushchair :)

thnks xxx

btw im thinkin bout the Maclaren Quest Mod personaly but im unconditional to hear bout any :)

I am in the States, and I have a Maclaren Pursue (this one)

It is very lightweight and it folds rather indubitably.

As far as bad weather, it does come with a clear plastic rain shield to cover baby, but I have never Euphemistic pre-owned it.

I like it, and so does my daughter. The only negative is that there isn't a cup holder/bar for the child, but that is what helps make it so lightweight and undisturbed to fold/compact.
