How can I find out where a privately held company manufactures its products?

I am doing a investigating paper and I need to know where Tripp Lite and MGE UPS manufactures their products.
You have to talk with someone internal this company. If it is privately held they don't have to publish any documents with the SEC regarding manufacturing. The best bet other than going snooping through their garbage is to call someone, tell them you are doing and college or high school paper and you would like to interview them.

Who manufactures products by the brand name: Assembled in USA from imported components?

I am looking for the maker of a locking Colonial mailbox. The Brand Name is: "Assembled in USA from imported components." I found the name AMCO associated with the mailbox but cannot find out what this stands for either. Can someone staff me find this manufacturer? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
The following marque names appear on Imported products.
Made in the USA brand.
Assembled in USA from imported components
American Made.
Made in America brand
These are companies based in Thailand, and China where laws do not occur to prevent them from using another country's name in their company name. these are usually shotty products, and that PO box you located belongs to someones cousin who either ships the letters abroad, or just tosses them at home. This is to prevent the mail from being returned to sender.

do they have their own flood supply and if so where would this be drawn from i.e. resevoir or where? Or is the water they use supplied by the water companies same as for domestic use.
The reason why I ask this mystery is surely if the water is supplied by the water companies, the costs to these manufacturers even though the water rates would be set at a enterprise tarriff, and though manufacturers offset some of these costs to the consumer, I would have thought manucfaturing products such as Lucozade that the costs must be insupportable. So how do these firms balance the costs of manufacturing goods that need water?
