Pedestal sinks?
I installed a pedestal subside, and it looks great, but the eye drifts to the plumbing which shows toward the bottom of it. Any suggestions on how to cover it up?
If there's accommodation & enough light, maybe a plant? Or just buy a fake one.

its me again...still disquieting to redecorate my mobile home. I was thinking about getting a pedestal sink to replace the vanity i have, but what about the p trap or elbow thingy? I'm belief it has to be removed since the pedestal sink has no room for an elbow. Please no jokes only good answers. I need tips please.
Hi,
It all depends on the pedestal. Some bases are wider than others and the confine and feed lines are hidden inside the base, while others are so narrow that the trap and feeds lines are exposed. I installed one of the tight base types in an apartment building I own and it took a magic trick to hide the trap. Let's fitting say I'll never buy another with a narrow base. Pay the extra amount and get one with a larger base.
Do you think pedestal sinks are outdated?
I am starting to believe about completely gutting my master bath.Right now I have a sink with a vanity but was thinking about going to a pedestal to outspread up the space. I don't really need the storage from the vanity so I am not worried about losing storage space.
I am wondering if pedestals are outdated.
What are your thoughts?
They are not out dated but get one mammoth enough to do the things you want to do....like brushing your teeth and shaving. I have one in my guest bathroom and until I had to use that bathroom while I gutted my masterbath I realized it sucked for habitual use and ended up building a shelf over the toilet the same height as the sink.
