Windows can't update because product key doesn't match?
My friends old computer crashed a while back, had to get new bitter drive. he didn't have back up disc.... so repar shop installed a version of windows that didn't match his old one, so now the product key isn't valid everytime he goes to do windows update and it sends him through WGA and i've tried to email microsoft but they didn't dog replying... the sticker with the original product key is on the side of the computer, how can i get his computer valid and up to date again?
Well the a close is idiotic and you should march back in their and demand the product key, that's the only way. Unless you want to shell out for another version on Windows.
I need to match what microsoft software goes with a product key?
I have hundreds of sleeves with yellow product keys on the back, for Microsoft products, like Vista, XP, Visual Studio, ETC.
Is there a program, or a way to paradigm in the product key and find out what software it goes to?
Easiest way is to buy a product and use the registration key on that packet. It will work every time.
